Where Are They Now?

Renaissance Cruises, which ceased operations in late 2001 had 8 R-class ships. These ships can carry 30,277 tons (small by today's standards), about 684 passengers (824 at full power). The name changes for R6 and R7 are International in its acquisition of Pullmantur, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity receipt with Pullmantur Zenith, the last of its oldest and smallest Horizon-classShips built in 1992. R8 is moving Hellenic mark, due to the closure of the Swan Princess.
